What is SPLYT?
Group checkout. One person creates a group, everyone adds their items, and each person pays only their own share.
How does group payment work?
Each member sees their exact amount and pays it through a payment provider. A share is marked paid only after the provider confirms it.
Do my friends need the app?
They join from a shared link. We keep sign-up to the minimum needed to pay.
Can I join from a link?
Yes. The host shares a link and members join from it.
What happens if someone doesn't pay?
The group shows who is pending and the host can send a reminder. SPLYT never charges someone else to cover a missing share.
Can I use it for group orders?
Yes. Food, groceries, gifts and trips are what we are built for first.
Is my payment information secure?
Payments are handled by the payment provider. SPLYT is not a wallet and does not hold your money.
